Liquid PLA is a safe biostimulator with 25+ years clinical use, FDA + CE approved. Side effects: 24-72 hours swelling, bruising (less with microcannula), injection site tenderness. Risk: nodule formation (5-15%) — result of superficial injection, inadequate dilution, poor massage. Minimized with 5-5-5 massage rule. Resolves with steroid injection. Very rare: granuloma (<1%), infection (<0.5%).
