Dental Implants
All-on-4 & All-on-6

“In implant treatment my priority is the health of your gums and bone; with proper planning I target a long-lasting, natural-looking result.”

— Dr. Tuğçe Sümer Yılmaz · Specialist in Periodontology

A dental implant is a titanium screw placed in the jawbone to replace a missing tooth, with a crown/prosthesis on top. From a single tooth to a full edentulous arch, All-on-4 and All-on-6 provide fixed, comfortable solutions. For general dentistry, see our dental treatments page.

Implant Solutions — Comparison

The solution is set by the number of missing teeth, bone status and goal. The exact plan comes from a 3D scan and exam.

SolutionBest ForImplantsHighlight
Single Tooth ImplantOne missing tooth1Permanent, without touching neighbouring teeth
Implant-Supported BridgeA few adjacent missing teeth2-4Economical, fixed solution via a bridge
All-on-4Full-arch edentulism4Fixed full prosthesis, fast loading in most cases
All-on-6Full arch, more support6Higher stability and load distribution

The table is for general information; suitability and plan are set individually with a clinical exam and imaging.

The Implant Process — Step by Step

  • Consultation and 3D scan: bone volume, sinus and nerve position are assessed and treatment is planned digitally.
  • Implant placement: performed under local anaesthesia, usually a short procedure per implant.
  • Healing (osseointegration): fusion of the implant with the bone usually takes 2-4 months; a temporary may be provided.
  • Permanent crown/prosthesis: an impression is taken and a custom crown or fixed prosthesis is placed.
  • Check and care: bite is adjusted and a long-term care plan is provided.
  • Immediate loading: in suitable cases (especially All-on-4), temporary fixed teeth can be fitted the same day.

Who Are Implants For?

  • Those with adequate jawbone; if bone is limited, grafting or a sinus lift can provide support.
  • Adults in good general health with completed jaw development (usually after 18).
  • Controlled chronic conditions may not prevent implants; assessment is individual.
  • Gum health matters; necessary treatments are planned before the implant.
  • Smoking can affect healing; reducing or quitting is advised during the process.

Dental Implants & All-on-4/6 — Frequently Asked Questions

An implant is a titanium screw placed in the jawbone to replace a missing tooth, with a crown or prosthesis on top. The procedure is done under local anaesthesia with digital planning.
For one or a few missing teeth, a single implant or implant-supported bridge; for a full edentulous arch, All-on-4 or All-on-6. The decision depends on the number of missing teeth and bone status.
All-on-4 fixes all teeth on 4 implants, All-on-6 on 6 implants. More implants provide higher stability and load distribution.
The procedure is done under local anaesthesia; no pain is expected during it. Mild swelling/tenderness afterwards is managed with simple painkillers.
Fusion of the implant with the bone usually takes 2-4 months, after which the permanent crown is made. Time varies with bone quality and the case.
In cases with adequate bone and stability, especially All-on-4, temporary fixed teeth can be fitted the same day. Suitability is clarified at assessment.
If bone volume is limited, bone grafting or a sinus lift can prepare a suitable base for the implant. This may affect the plan and timeline.
A short stay is enough for implant placement; the permanent crown is planned for a second visit after healing or with a temporary. We arrange the process around your travel.
With good care, implants function for many years (15+ in most cases). Lifespan depends on oral hygiene, regular check-ups and habits.
Yes; we offer a warranty depending on the implant and procedure and share its scope in writing before treatment.
Cost depends on the number of implants and the solution (single implant / All-on-4 / All-on-6). For indicative prices and a country comparison, see our dental treatment cost guide.
Implants require completed jaw development (usually after 18). There is no upper age limit; what matters is bone and general health.
In healthy individuals, the long-term success rate of dental implants is around 95–98%. Success is directly linked to proper planning, sufficient bone, good oral hygiene and regular check-ups.
Yes. We prefer systems with long-term scientific data and strong compatibility for parts and prosthetics. The brand affects both the initial success and the ease of any future procedure years later.
You can, but smoking slows healing and increases the risk of implant loss. We recommend stopping at least for a few weeks before and after the procedure.
Controlled diabetes or blood pressure is not an obstacle to implants. What matters is that your values stay stable; we plan in coordination with your physician if needed.
Rarely. The most common causes are uncontrolled inflammation, poor hygiene, heavy smoking and overloading or teeth grinding. If noticed early, it can usually be redone.
No. Titanium implants do not trigger metal detectors and are not an obstacle to MRI scans.
A standard implant procedure is done painlessly under local anaesthesia. For multiple implants or on request, a sedation (light sleep) option can be offered.
In suitable cases yes — extraction and implant can be done in the same session (immediate implant). This reduces the total time and number of surgeries; suitability depends on bone and infection status.
Teeth grinding or clenching (bruxism) puts excess load on the implant and its prosthesis. In this case we recommend a night guard and plan accordingly.
Mild swelling and sometimes bruising are normal for the first few days and resolve on their own. They are easily managed with cold application and the prescribed medication.
Usually 7–10 days after the procedure. If you are coming from abroad, we arrange the return plan accordingly or prefer dissolvable sutures.
If bone volume is insufficient, a graft is applied so the implant sits securely. The need is clarified before surgery with 3D tomography (CBCT).
The implant itself cannot decay because it is titanium. However, the surrounding gum and bone can become inflamed (peri-implantitis) if hygiene is neglected, so care is important.
If the neighbouring teeth are healthy, an implant is usually the best choice because it doesn't touch them and preserves bone. You can find a detailed comparison on our implant vs bridge page.
There is no upper age limit for implants; what matters is not age but general health and bone condition. With suitable general health, they are placed successfully at an advanced age too.
Routine check-ups after the permanent prosthesis can also be done by your own dentist; if needed we provide online follow-up via WhatsApp. We plan your travel in advance for the key stages.
In many All-on-4/All-on-6 cases, a temporary fixed prosthesis can be fitted the same day as the implants. The permanent prosthesis is made after bone integration is complete.
