Our Laser Technology
Alma Soprano and Cynosure Apogee
“In aesthetics, my most important principle is trust and natural results; I offer each patient a personalized, realistic and balanced plan.”
At TSHEALTH Nişantaşı, laser treatments are carried out with two brand-name platforms: Alma Soprano (combining Diode, Alexandrite and Nd:YAG wavelengths with SHR technology) and Cynosure Apogee (a 755 nm Alexandrite laser). The right wavelength is selected based on skin tone and hair type.
Why the device and wavelength matter
In laser hair removal, results depend on the device, the wavelength and how well these match your skin tone and hair type. A single wavelength is not suitable for every skin: Alexandrite (755 nm) is more effective on light-to-medium tones, while Nd:YAG (1064 nm) is safer on dark and tanned skin. Having multiple wavelengths therefore allows safe, effective treatment across a wider range of patients.
Alma Soprano — Diode + Alexandrite + Nd:YAG (SHR)
Alma Soprano combines three clinically proven wavelengths in one platform: Diode 810 nm, Alexandrite 755 nm and Nd:YAG 1064 nm. These wavelengths target different depths of the hair follicle and can be used on all skin types, from light to dark. Its SHR (Super Hair Removal) In-Motion technique gradually heats the skin and avoids high peak temperatures, while ICE contact cooling keeps treatment comfortable.
Cynosure Apogee — Alexandrite (755 nm)
The Cynosure Apogee is a 755 nm Alexandrite laser. Thanks to the high melanin absorption of the Alexandrite wavelength, it provides effective hair reduction especially on light-to-medium skin tones, and is also used to clear superficial pigmented lesions such as sun spots and age spots. It is FDA-cleared.
Which treatments it is used for
These devices are used primarily for laser hair removal — the Alma Soprano for hair reduction on all skin types, and the Cynosure Apogee for hair reduction and superficial pigment/spot treatment. The right wavelength and device are determined during your consultation, based on your skin tone and goal.
What sets us apart
- Two brand-name platforms on site: laser treatments are carried out in our clinic with the Alma Soprano and the Cynosure Apogee.
- Suitable for all skin types: the Alma Soprano's three wavelengths (Diode/Alexandrite/Nd:YAG) allow treatment from light to dark and tanned skin.
- FDA-cleared devices: the laser systems we use are FDA-cleared.
- Comfortable treatment: SHR In-Motion and ICE contact cooling make the procedure largely painless.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which laser devices does TSHEALTH use?
Laser treatments are carried out with the Alma Soprano (Diode 810 nm + Alexandrite 755 nm + Nd:YAG 1064 nm, SHR) and the Cynosure Apogee (Alexandrite 755 nm).
Why do multiple wavelengths matter?
Different wavelengths suit different skin tones and hair types. Alexandrite is better for light-to-medium tones and Nd:YAG is safer for dark and tanned skin; multiple wavelengths enable safe, effective treatment across a wider range of patients.
Is it suitable for dark or tanned skin?
Yes. The Nd:YAG 1064 nm wavelength is the safest option for darker skin tones, and the Alma Soprano includes this wavelength.
Is laser hair removal painful?
The SHR In-Motion technique and ICE contact cooling make the procedure largely comfortable; because the skin is heated gradually, high peak temperatures are avoided.
