At the first visit the condition of your teeth and gums is assessed with an intraoral exam and any necessary X-rays; a treatment plan tailored to you is then prepared.
Procedures are carried out under local anaesthesia, so you feel no pain during treatment; any mild sensitivity afterwards is easily managed with simple measures.
It depends on the scope; simple procedures can be done in 2–3 days, while treatments such as implants may be completed over two separate visits, with the plan agreed in advance.
All instruments are sterilised to international standards after every patient and single-use materials are preferred; patient safety is our priority.
Manufacturer and clinic assurances are provided for treatments such as implants and crowns; attending your regular check-ups is important for that assurance to continue.
As a periodontology specialist this is what I emphasise most: no treatment placed over unhealthy gums will last, so we first ensure gum health.
After the exam and imaging I prepare a step-by-step plan based on your priorities, oral health and expectations, and I share every step with you.
This is very common; I explain each step and, when needed, use calming approaches to keep you comfortable, so treatment is far more relaxed.
Regular brushing, floss and the recommended check-ups make the result lasting; I explain your personal aftercare advice in detail at the end of treatment.
In general I recommend a check-up and professional cleaning every 6 months; this interval can be tailored to you depending on your gum condition.
